\nI Need Some Advice<\/strong><\/p>\n

In one of my previous entries, I\u00a0wrote\u00a0about a cave on my last hike trail. (You can find the video link here if you haven’t seen it.<\/p>\n

It’s a wild cave, which means there’s no dedicated team to take care of it.<\/p>\n

When we got there, we found some trash on the ground, but we didn’t have the tools to dispose of it, let alone carry it down the hill.<\/p>\n

Luckily, that area belongs to a small village, so villagers will come to clean it in their spare time.<\/p>\n

But, I still feel it’s wrong. It’s unfair to leave those pieces of trash in the cave and make the villagers do extra work.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, I have to admit that some guys in the hike team are shameless. Maybe it’s only about 5% of the population, but still, we can’t put an end to littering.<\/p>\n

So I decided to help the villagers build a garbage collection program as a game project.<\/p>\n

The project plan hasn’t been finished yet.<\/p>\n

If you have any advice or suggestions, feel free to tell me!<\/p>\n

And if you have seen some successful solutions to similar problems, please share them with me. I have never hiked to any wild area outside China, so it’s totally unknown to me.<\/p>\n

\nBirds Outside My Window<\/strong><\/p>\n

In my last entry, I told you about the birds who landed outside my window and how I couldn’t take a video of them.<\/p>\n

A few hours later, I took some pictures of them.<\/p>\n

They were still scared of me and flew away whenever I stood by my window or placed my camera on my windowsill.<\/p>\n

But they were not too scared to fly far. They just stood on my neighbors’ clothes rails.<\/p>\n

So I\u00a0was able to capture some photos.<\/p>\n

I think the first bird is a turtle dove and the other is a Chinese bulbul.<\/p>\n

\nA period of time through my windowsill<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have to accept that only a few plants are alive on my windowsill.<\/p>\n

The strongest one is a weed, and I don’t know its name or how it came to be here.<\/p>\n

I didn’t cut it down because it’s nice to see a strong living thing when I open my window in the morning every day.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, I found that some birds like this weed too. They like to\u00a0land beside it and then chat with each other.<\/p>\n

Yesterday I decided to take a video of the birds sitting on my windowsill, but the birds probably saw my camera and refused to come back.<\/p>\n

I retrieved my camera with disappointment\u00a0but was surprised to find that the video without birds seemed to tell a story about time.<\/p>\n

So\u00a0here is a video of how time flies through my windowsill.<\/p>\n

\nAn Interesting Fact<\/strong><\/p>\n

I discovered an interesting fact about myself. The earlier I get up, the better I feel.<\/p>\n

It’s a little bit funny because I’ve been told as a kid that the more you sleep, the better you will feel.<\/p>\n

Personally, if I slept for more than six and a half hours, then the best time to wake up is between 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM.<\/p>\n

Exploration is exciting, whether it’s exploring the world or learning about myself.<\/p>\n

\nThe Triple Happiness of Hiking<\/strong><\/p>\n

I just uploaded a short video of last Saturday’s cave expedition. You can watch it here.<\/p>\n

I enjoyed making this video because it made me feel like I was\u00a0back on the mountain again.<\/p>\n

Every time I hike, I can gain\u00a0three times the happiness.<\/p>\n

The first one is the time I spend\u00a0hiking. I\u00a0can appreciate nature, the mountains, the plants, and the people\u00a0around me.<\/p>\n

The second one is when I watch the videos and pictures I took of the hike. I relive the pleasant memories.<\/p>\n

The third one is when I share it with my old friends and you folks. At this moment, I hope you can have a nice time in nature as I have had.<\/p>\n

\nYesterday’s Hike<\/strong><\/p>\n

I went on a hike yesterday with several friends.<\/p>\n

It was our first hike this autumn. The weather was still hot, so we chose a cool trail that included a deep cave.<\/p>\n

We had planned to reach the cave opening around two hours before the hottest time of the day, but we underestimated the effect of the weather on the human body.<\/p>\n

One of our friends got heatstroke on the way to the mountain. Luckily, the symptoms were quite mild. We left him at a grocery store where the owner could care for him.<\/p>\n

We finally reached the cave one hour before the hottest time and spent three hours exploring it.<\/p>\n

It was really extraordinary. I have traveled to many huge caves in China, but all of them had good infrastructure. This cave didn’t have electricity or phone signal. As visitors, we needed to have a certified guide with us and bring professional equipment such as headlights and hard hats.<\/p>\n

The most interesting part was descending tens of meters below ground on a rope. I had never done this before, but I observed others while waiting in line, so it was quite smooth when I did it.<\/p>\n

It’s always fun to experience something new.<\/p>\n

When we returned, we picked up our friend who had been unwell. He had fully recovered and told us it was so nice to take a nap on the mountainside.<\/p>\n
