My New Plants

I bought some new plants after moving into my new apartment.

The first one I got was a blueberry plant. When scrolling on my phone, I accidentally noticed that the blueberry flowers are cute and beautiful. When my blueberry was delivered to me, it had a few burries and some flowers at the tops of the branches — that’s a long story. But that’s a story for another day.

After planting this blueberry plant, I found it was fun to grow fruit because you could enjoy both the flowers and the fruit. Then I bought some strawberry plants.

I’m very happy when I get up and see my fruits getting bigger and bigger every day.

The True Limitation

I like to record my travels and hikes when I return to my work routine. It’s kind of a relief for my daily life.

Thus, I wrote a long article about the same experience as what happened in yesterday’s YouTube video. In Chinese, of course.

I realized that maybe it was the language, but not the pictures and videos, that limited my expression yesterday.

If you can read Chinese, welcome to see it.

I’m a bad recorder

I said I would share some videos and pictures of my National Day holiday.

When I opened the album on my phone, I realized that I’m bad at recording.

I came across so many wonderful things, so many vegetables, fruits, and fish that I had never seen before, but I didn’t capture any of them.

I also met many kind locals and had some nice chats with them, but I didn’t record them.

I spent more than one hour preparing a video, but the only thing I can show you is this short one.

Please tell me if you have any advice.

About My National Day Holiday

Two weeks ago, I planned to write an entry daily during my holiday in Quanzhou.

However, I was too busy and tired to do that.

Quanzhou is such a wonderful city that I couldn’t help but continue exploring it every day than I expected. We even got up earlier than we would have on a workday and got back to the hotel very late.

I’ll try to share some pictures and videos with you in the coming week.

The First Day of My Holiday

I got up so early to take the train to Quanzhou this morning that I felt tired and sleepy during the train ride.

I’m currently sitting in the hotel room, waiting for my friends to arrive. Maybe due to the delicious local food, I feel refreshed again.

The hotel we’re staying at tonight is part of the IHG. It was booked by one of my friends. Her husband likes international brands. I think she shares the same preference, even though she doesn’t agree.

I personally prefer local hotels with a good reputation, which are mostly new and with some special local decoration or food.
