Thanks a lot

Finally, I have some time to review my 2025 Chinese year.

As usual, I finished my courses on Coursera and read several books this year.

Something new is helping me enhance my cognition. Although it may not have started this year, its effects have become apparent during this time period.

Thanks to you guys here, I am at an English level of “I think I’m correct, and the AIs tell me I’m correct, but you guys can teach me more to improve more and more.” This is truly irreplaceable. I really appreciate all of you—my friends, teachers, and the Lang team. So one of my New Year’s resolutions for 2026 is to write at least 300 entries here and make more corrections than I receive.

Another thing is I realized that friends, just like travelling and reading, can help me expand my cognition. I didn’t travel overseas in 2025, but because of you, the USA has now become not just a single entity but also many diverse areas. There are many waterfalls and mountains, like or unlike the ones in China. And for me, Nigeria is no longer merely a country name, but also an amazing place with some plants and fruit I’ve never seen.

In 2026, I’ll incorporate my belief in “traveling thousands of miles and reading thousands of books” with the idea of making more mentors and friends.

I wish all of us a wonderful Year of the Horse.
